On the morning of February 23, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee held a conference to evaluate the situation before, during, and after the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026; and to review adjustments of Hue City’s Master Plan for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050, to meet the development requirements in the new phase.

On the morning of February 6, a delegation from the Ministry of Health, led by Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen, visited and inspected the preparations to ensure medical services for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 at Hue Central Hospital. The visit aimed to comprehensively evaluate medical examination and treatment activities, emergency services, and the readiness to respond to medical situations that may arise during Tet.

Over the two days of December 11 and 12, Hue City mobilized forces and vehicles to implement peak period patrol, inspection, and control to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing; while also assessing the national defense and security situation in the city's waters.

Hue City People's Committee has just issued the Decision No. 3550/QD-UBND declaring a natural disaster emergency situation regarding the collapse of a Northern section of Hue Imperial Citadel wall, along Dang Thai Than Street, approximately 180m East of Hoa Binh Gate.

Following the directive from the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, on November 10, Hue City Civil Defense Steering Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the People's Committees of wards and communes in the city to conduct surveys to mark the highest flood traces during the flooding event, from October 25 to November 3, within the premises of offices, schools, low-lying routes, public works, and flood warning towers in the local areas.

On the afternoon of November 2, a working delegation from the Ministry of Health, led by Deputy Minister Do Xuan Tuyen, Standing Deputy Head of the Civil Defense Steering Committee of the Ministry of Health, visited and worked with Hue Central Hospital to inspect the hospital’s efforts in responding and overcoming the aftermath of the floods.

On the afternoon of October 30, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member and Permanent Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Secretariat, visited and inspected the flood situation and post-flood recovery efforts in Hue City.

This was the direction given by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, while inspecting the flood situation and response work in the Northern localities of the city.

On September 30, a working delegation from Hue City People's Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, along with Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, inspected the erosion situation along the Bo River, the O Lau River, and the restoration efforts following the aftermath of Typhoon No. 10 in several localities.

On September 17 - 18, in Hue City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, together with the Department of Dike Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, in collaboration with UNICEF held a seminar with the theme “Training on Child-Centered Communication in the Situations of Natural Disasters”.
