The city’s People’s Committee has issued a decision to announce the opening of the Ngu Ha river inland waterway route, with a total length of 3,5 km. The route is scheduled to be put into operation starting from April 10th, 2026.

By enabling young people who are passionate about Hue to tell their stories more professionally, digital platforms can evolve into a powerful promotional tool, further enhancing Hue Ancient Capital’s appeal on the tourism map.

Ultimately, developing the night-time economy is not about making Hue “stay up later,” but about enabling Hue to “tell its story for longer” through cultural experiences, beautiful spaces, refined services, and a civilized approach.

Hue is well-positioned to sustain its post-Tet growth momentum, particularly during upcoming extended holiday periods such as the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day (the 10th day of the lunar March) and the April 30 - May 1 holiday.

On March 26th, sites such as Hue Imperial Citadel, the Nguyen Dynasty royal tombs system and many other monuments will be open to visitors free of charge, creating favorable conditions for the public to directly experience the heritage

On March 26, the operator will offer a 50% discount on tickets for the “Connecting Central Heritage” train. In addition, a 10% discount will be applied to train tickets for trips running from March 27 to April 1, 2026.

When each flight achieves healthy load factors, airline and partner confidence will grow, paving the way for increased frequency and long-term commercial operations.

In the first two months, the number of tourists to Hue rose nearly 48% year-on-year, reaching an estimated of over 1.2 million arrivals.

Particularly, over the 9-day period from February 14 to February 22, 2026, the total number of visitors to Hue City was estimated at over 523,000 tourist arrivals, increasing 245% year-on-year.
