On the morning of October 15, the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation held a ceremony to honor outstanding collectives and individuals in the summer youth volunteer movement in the period of 2000 – 2024.

On October 5th, the Vietnam Digital Media Association and VietTimes e-magazine held the Vietnam Digital Awards 2024 ceremony in Hanoi. Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) was honored in the category of Outstanding digital transformation by public service and business units with its solution “Applying digital technology to conserve and promote the values of Hue’s heritage.”

At the 2024 International Dance Festival, Vietnamese art troupes have achieved outstanding success through performance programs and independent dance works. Such extraordinary achievements mark significant contributions of a number of professional art theaters along with leading art training units, such as Vietnam Academy of Dance, University of Theater and Performing Arts of Hanoi, as well as Military University of Culture and Arts.

Hue has many outstanding fields to join UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN). This not only promotes local cultural identity to the world but also provides an opportunity to attract tourists and investors to Hue. At 22 years old, Nguyen Thanh Tai (born in 2002), a student of medical class 20B at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, owns 43 voluntary blood donation certificates. At the ceremony honoring 100 national outstanding voluntary blood donors in 2024, Tai was the youngest delegate at the event.

Participating in the International Art Festival Week Hue 2024, the Zhejiang Wu Opera Research Center of China will stage and perform some outstanding excerpts showcasing the charm and quintessence of Zhejiang Opera and traditional Chinese opera.

As part of activities of Hue Festival 2024, on the morning of February 1st, at Thuong Bac Park (Tran Hung Dao Street, Hue City), the opening ceremony of the 2nd edition of Yellow Apricot Festival in Hue took place. This festival is organized to honor the distinctive flower species of the ancient capital - the Yellow Apricot of Hue.

The Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations organized a program to award and honor writers and artists on the morning of December 27th 2023 to honor writers and artists who have won international, domestic, regional, annual awards of the Union of Arts and Literature Associations, or other prestigious national awards.
