HNN.VN - On May 31, the Office of Education and Training of Thuan Hoa District held a ceremony to award students who achieved high results in various competitions.

In the academic year 2024 - 2025, the quality of education in Thuan Hoa District has improved, both in general education and specialized education. Schools have focused on providing comprehensive education to students, with particular emphasis on Hue cultural education, arts and sports, as well as experiential and creative activities, etc. The organization of teaching in a way that develops students' qualities and competencies has been prioritized by schools to meet the innovations according to the 2018 General Education Program.

The work of identifying and fostering gifted and excellent students continues to be promoted, with many encouraging achievements in competitions and contests for gifted and excellent students. Specifically, 20 students achieved high results in the Internet Olympiads of English (IOE), VioEdu Math, and Trang Nguyen of Vietnamese competition at national level.

Regarding city-level competition results, 65 students won awards in various competitions such as the UPU international letter writing contest, sports and physical education, science and technology, youth innovation, and English debate; 72 students won awards in the 9th-grade excellent student competition.

On this occasion, the Office of Education and Training of Thuan Hoa district commended 152 students who achieved high results in various competitions, and commended collectives with high achievements in the work of nurturing excellent students, including secondary schools namely Nguyen Chi Dieu, Phu Duong, Chu Van An, Hung Vuong, Phu Mau, Duy Tan, Phu Thuong, and Nguyen Van Troi, etc.
