Awarding 100 scholarships to typical outstanding students who have overcome difficulties
HNN.VN - On the morning of June 7, the Hue City Department of Health in coordination with Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City held a scholarship awarding ceremony for typical outstanding students who have overcome difficulties in 2025.

In recent times, various departments and local authorities have consistently focused on the protection, care, and education of children, especially those from difficult circumstances. Among these efforts, the scholarship program for outstanding students overcoming difficulties has been implemented for the 11th consecutive year. This program is a meaningful humanitarian activity that has had a significant positive impact on talented students facing hardships in the area.
At the event, each student received a scholarship and gifts worth 4 million VND, including 3 million VND in cash, school supplies, and various other presents, with a total funding of nearly 500 million VND. The scholarship funding was supported by donations from Smart Green Company, Saigon Morin Hue Co., Ltd., EMG Joint Stock Company, and many other benefactors.

It is known that the scholarship recipients are students under 16 years old, from grades 6 to 9 (school year 2024-2025), coming from special circumstances; as well as children from families classified as poor, near-poor, or disadvantaged families; those who have not previously participated in this program; those who have consecutively achieved excellent academic results from 2022 to 2025; those who have won awards in various academic competitions; and those who demonstrate good moral conduct. This activity aims to recognize and encourage the spirit of striving for academic excellence among students facing particularly difficult circumstances, while also promoting a mobility of academic competition among students in the area.
