Presenting gifts to outstanding poor students overcoming difficulties in Phu Loc District

HNN.VN - On January 9, the Association for the Promotion of Education of Phu Loc District, in collaboration with Vietkids Association - the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City, organized a gift-giving ceremony for outstanding poor students overcoming difficulties in Phu Loc District.

At the event, the organizations presented 50 bicycles and 96 scholarships to students in various communes, namely Loc Binh, Loc Tri, Vinh Hien, and Giang Hai, with a total value of nearly 200 million VND.

Mr. Tran Van Minh Quan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Loc District, expressed gratitude for the meaningful gifts from the sponsors, which would help the students have a warm Tet holiday. He also hoped to continue receiving attention, sharing, and support from organizations and units in the coming years.

On this occasion, the Association for the Promotion of Education of Phu Loc District, in collaboration with the Vietkids Association - the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Hue City, also awarded additional scholarships to 108 students from 10 mountainous communes and towns of Phu Loc District.
