HNN.VN - On the morning of May 27, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted held a ceremony to summarize and award for the academic year 2024 - 2025. On this occasion, 9 groups and 313 students, who achieved excellent academic results, were honored.

In the academic year 2024 - 2025, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted achieved many important results in gifted education, especially in national excellent student competitions, as well as international and regional Olympiads. The quality of nurturing excellent students at all levels showed good progress, increasing in both quantity and quality.

The school has a total of 1,275 students, including 319 excellent students, 819 good students, 83 students who won national-level excellent student awards, and 297 who won city-level excellent student awards. Notably, 4 students were selected for national teams to compete in international Olympiads; among them, there was 1 Silver Medal and 1 Bronze Medal at the Asia - Pacific Physics Olympiad 2025; 1 member of the national team participated in the International Biology Olympiad, and 1 member of the national team participated in the International Physics Olympiad 2025.

For the science and technology innovation competition for high school students, the specialized departments actively conducted preliminary and final rounds. Guiding students in carrying out projects for the science and technology innovation competition is a task of a school for the gifted, helping students familiarize themselves with scientific research. From the first and second rounds at the school level, the school's scientific council selected outstanding projects to compete at higher levels. Many projects won awards at the city, national, and international levels.

On this occasion, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted awarded 9 groups and 313 students for their excellent academic achievements with various awards, such as: the school honor award, the first school excellence award, the second school excellence award, the 12th-grade honorary award, and award for students winning national award, etc.

According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, at the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2025), held in Paris, France from July 17th to 25th, Tran Le Thien Nhan from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted not only won a Silver Medal but was also named one of five global recipients of the “STEM for All” award presented by the Thales Group (France).
