Various trade unions are proactively implementing practical programs to ensure that employeescan enjoy a complete and warm holiday as the Lunar New Year approaches.

On January 20, the University of Education, Hue University, organized a program themed “Spring Connecting - Tet Sharing”, taking students to return home to celebrate At Ty Lunar new year - 2025.

To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd, 1930 - February 3rd, 2025) and create the joyful and exciting atmosphere to honor the glorious Party and welcome the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Thuan Hoa District will organize various activities to celebrate the Party and the Spring. These activities aim to meet the recreational needs of locals and tourists.

On the occasion of welcoming New Year and the Lunar New Year 2025, the Year of Snake, on the night of January 14, Hue City People’s Committee held a new year meeting party with the participation of international tourists, volunteers, experts, and foreign investors working in the city area.

On the evening of January 11th, in Trung Son Commune (A Luoi District), the Border Guard Command of Hue City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, organized the flagship program “Border Spring warms the people’s hearts” in celebration of the At Ty Lunar New Year - 2025.

That was the announcement from the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province regarding their plan for activities to celebrate the Party and the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake).

Beautiful custard apple varieties from Thailand, Taiwan, and even our own Vietnamese sugar apples grown and cared for by Mr. Nguyen Quang My, the owner of Quang My Garden, will be supplied to the market in Hue during this Lunar New Year. These are the "sweet fruits" after 2 years of Mr. My's hard work in transforming the land of Huong Tra hills to grow fruit trees for commercial purposes.

The 11th Huong Thuy traditional spring boat racing 2024 took place on the morning of February 18th (the 9th day of the first month in lunar year) at Loi Nong River (Thuy Phương Ward).

Lunar New Year 2024 is the opening of the Year of the Dragon. Wishes for the new year are often referred to as a dream. If there is a dream for Hue in the year of the Dragon, it can be called “Hue’s Dragon Dream"!

The Department of Tourism has reported that during the Giap Thin Lunar New Year (Year of the Dragon), the number of tourists visiting Hue for sightseeing and experiences has significantly increased compared to that of the same period in 2023, with many accommodation facilities fully booked during the festive days.
