As part of the program, the delegation offered incense at the home of Mr. Ngo Yen Thi, former Secretary of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Party Committee (now Hue City), a leader who made many important contributions during different stages of the locality’s development. Mr. Trung and members of the delegation respectfully offered incense, expressing deep gratitude and remembrance for Mr. Thi’s contributions to the Party and to his hometown of Hue.
The delegation then visited and extended Tet greetings to the Center for Nursing and Care of People with Meritorious Service to the Revolution (77 Yet Kieu Street, Phu Xuan Ward). There, Mr. Trung personally visited and encouraged the mothers and women who are relatives of martyrs and people with meritorious service currently being cared for at the Center, and conveyed New Year wishes of good health, peace, and happiness to each individual residing and receiving care at the facility.

The City Party Secretary acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility and dedication of the Center’s staff in caring for and serving people with meritorious service. He emphasized that the work of “gratitude and remembrance” is always identified by the city as a regular political task with profound humanitarian significance. The city will continue to pay attention, allocate resources, fully and promptly implement preferential regimes and policies, and at the same time improve the quality of care to ensure better material and spiritual living conditions for people with meritorious service.
* On the same morning, Mr. Phan Xuan Toan, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Commission of the City Party Committee, together with a working delegation, visited, extended Tet greetings, and presented Tet gifts at Tam Binh Center for Supporting Children with Disabilities (Thuy Xuan Ward, Hue City).

Currently, Tam Binh Center for Supporting Children with Disabilities is caring for and nurturing 33 children with disabilities. The center not only provides care but also teaches literacy, life skills, and pre-vocational orientation for the children. During the Tet holiday of the Horse 2026, the center organizes recreational activities, makes chung cakes and tet cakes, and prepares Tet gifts for the children.
During the visit, Mr. Toan warmly inquired about the children’s health, daily life, and learning, while also acknowledging and highly appreciating the sense of responsibility, compassion, and attentive care shown by the staff in nurturing and educating the children at Tam Binh Center.
The Head of the Organization Commission of the City Party Committee wished the staff and the children being cared for at Tam Binh Center a Tet filled with good health and joy.
On this occasion, Mr. Toan also visited and extended Tet greetings to Mr. Le Van Dai, a 26% war invalid, residing in Group 4, Vy Da Ward. Mr. Dai currently also serves as the Party Cell Secretary of the residential group.
Presenting Tet gifts along with warm words of inquiry and greetings to Mr. Dai, Mr. Toan expressed gratitude for Mr. Dai’s contributions and hoped that, in his role as Party Cell Secretary of Residential Group 4, he would continue to set an example and contribute to the development of the homeland and the country.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse, Mr. Toan will also visit and extend Tet greetings to a number of veteran revolutionaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families with meritorious service to the revolution, as well as Vinh Xuan Border Guard Station and Border Guard Squadron No. 2.
