| More than 150 Tet gift packages presented to union members and workers at the 2026 “Tet Reunion - Spring in Gratitude to the Party” program |
The “Tet Reunion - Spring in Gratitude to the Party” program was launched by Hue City Federation of Labor ahead of the Lunar New Year, aiming to provide practical support for union members and workers, while strengthening connections among trade union organizations, union members, workers, enterprises, with local Party committees and authorities in caring for workers’ welfare.
At the program, hundreds of union members and workers from nearly 100 grassroots trade unions under Thuan Hoa Ward Trade Union visited and shopped at zero-dong stalls, received free occupational disease check-ups and consultations on reproductive health, participated in labor law workshops and lucky draws, and took part in the “Trade Union Year-End Meal” competition.

As part of the program, the Standing Committee of the Thuan Hoa Ward Trade Union presented more than 150 gift packages in cash and in kind, sponsored by Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Hue City Federation of Labor, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, to union members and workers. In addition, more than 200 zero-dong shopping vouchers for essential goods and over 200 free Ao-dai were also distributed to union members and workers in Thuan Hoa Ward.
These activities bear a strong trade union imprint and are convenient, practical, and effective, contributing to better care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers. They also aim to mobilize the strong participation and joint efforts of local Party committees, authorities, employers, and society as a whole to provide better care for and protect workers’ rights and livelihoods.

The “Spring Tet Market” was organized in the form of zero-dong shopping, offering many essential daily items such as T-shirts, boxed milk, fresh milk, nutritional porridge, and drinking water. The market space was neatly and warmly arranged, creating a friendly atmosphere that helped patients momentarily set aside their worries about illness and embrace the joy of spring.
Within the program, 1.000 disadvantaged patients undergoing treatment at Hue Central Hospital were given shopping vouchers to select gifts suited to their personal needs. Each gift package was valued at 350.000 VND, helping patients cover daily expenses and providing encouragement for them to continue their treatment with peace of mind during the traditional Tet holiday.

This meaningful activity is part of a series of programs welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 organized by Hue Central Hospital, with the aim of encouraging, sharing, and uplifting patients’ spirits, especially those in difficult circumstances who must remain in the hospital during Tet.
Alongside the “Spring Tet Market”, in the days leading up to the Lunar New Year, Hue Central Hospital has also coordinated with sponsoring units and benefactors to carry out various other charitable activities, such as presenting Tet gifts, supporting meals, and organizing exchange and visitation programs. These efforts aim to bring patients a warm and compassionate Tet atmosphere, spreading the values of sharing and care, so that as Tet arrives and spring returns, love and kindness are felt more fully.
