On the afternoon of May 19th, the Sub-Department of Irrigation and Climate Change, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hue City, organized a seminar themed “Community Joins Hands in Natural Disaster Prevention and Control”.

The information was announced at the “Standardizing Quality and Enhancing Capacity in Primary Care and Family Medicine Practice” international conference, organized by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University over two days, May 19th and 20th.

The title “National Winner” recognizes Hue City’s efforts in building a green, smart, and environmentally friendly urban area.

In celebration of the 136th anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on May 18, the Nguyen Chi Thanh Merit Scholarship Fund under the Hue City Association for Promoting Education held a ceremony to award scholarships to students with outstanding achievements in the 2025-2026 National Excellent Student Competition. The award ceremony took place at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

The 2021-2025 period can be regarded as one of the most extraordinary stages in the development history of Hue City. On the morning of May 17th, Hue City Youth and Children Center organized the 6th Expanded Skills Festival for clubs, teams, and groups in Hue City in 2026 at the Quoc Hoc Stele Square in Thuan Hoa Ward.
