Over 20,000 people join the Hue Nam Temple Festival

HNN.VN - A procession of boats taking part in the Hue Nam Temple Festival (Hon Chen Temple) traveled one after another from downtown Hue City upstream along the Huong River toward Mount Ngoc Tran, creating a lively atmosphere on the river.

The Hue Nam Temple Festival, held in the seventh lunar month of 2026, officially opened on the morning of August 20 at the Thien Tien Thanh Giao Holy Place (352 Chi Lang Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

Following the opening ceremony, the procession, carrying dozens of ceremonial platforms, moved down to the boats and headed toward Hue Nam Temple. Dozens of elaborately decorated boats traveled together upstream along the Huong River, passing by many scenic sites and Hue’s iconic bridges, creating an impressive festival scene.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Hue Nam Temple Festival will take place from August 20 to 22, with the participation of more than 20,000 people. During the festival, visitors and residents can visit Hue Nam Temple free of charge.
