It also sought to help build a safe, healthy, civilized, and responsible information environment in cyberspace.

In recent times, the digital community has contributed to promoting the Complex of Hue Monuments, Hue royal court music, the ao-dai, local cuisine, landscapes and way of life, while accompanying cultural, tourism, and sporting events…

Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang said that, alongside mainstream media, social media is an important communication channel for promoting destinations, events and the image of Hue; in which, KOLs, content creators and businesses play an important role in bringing Hue’s image to domestic and international visitors.

Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang noted that, under Hue’s communication plan through 2030, the city has identified the increasingly important role of KOLs and content creators, particularly in promoting Hue through domestic and international channels and communicating policies to residents and young people.

At the conference, leaders of the City Police called on the digital community to embrace its influence with responsibility, proactively verify information and spread official and constructive information; contributing to combating misinformation and protecting the image, reputation and brand name of the Ancient Capital.

On this occasion, the city launched the ‘Hue City digital trust’ Club, aimed at connecting agencies, organizations, businesses, relevant authorities, KOLs, content creators, and other active social media contributors. The club seeks to improve people’s ability to identify fake news, raise awareness of methods and tactics used by cybercriminals, and spread positive values and the image of Hue to domestic and international communities.
