The “Surgical Patient Care” training course for nurses and midwives from across the hospital and related healthcare facilities is taking place from May 6 to 15. The program aims to update and standardize knowledge and skills in caring for surgical patients, while also enhancing the professional capacity of healthcare workers.

The 3rd HTA Group Cup Football Tournament – 2026 kicked off on the afternoon of May 7 at Green City Stadium (My Thuong Ward, Hue City). On the afternoon of March 30th, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MicroPort MedBot (China) and Hanoi Foreign Medical (HFM) to establish the first Vietnam-China Robotic Surgery Training Center in Vietnam. To meet the demand for updating knowledge and enhancing professional capacity for medical staff, Hue Central Hospital recently launched a series of large-scale and continuous training courses in March 2026, attracting a significant number of trainees from various healthcare facilities across the country.

From March 24 to 26, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in collaboration with the Arpan Global (the USA), organizes a community health screening and consultation program at the university campus, the university hospital, and the City Social Work Center and Children’s Protection Fund.

The launching ceremony of the “All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho” campaign; the Olympic Run Day “For Public Health - For National Security”; and the opening of the 34th Traditional cross-country Race 2026 – an event of the 10th City Sports Festival, took place on the morning of March 22nd at Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion.

On March 17 and 18, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, in collaboration with Nuoy Reconstructive International (the USA), organized a reconstructive plastic surgery program, providing treatment opportunities for many patients with maxillofacial deformities while opening up prospects for international cooperation in specialized healthcare.

On the afternoon of March 13, the Youth Union of Hue City Department of Health organized a voluntary blood donation program under the theme “From White Blouses to Pink Drops of Blood”, drawing the participation of leaders and a large number of officials, civil servants, and youth union members from the health sector.

The teams of doctors and medical staff at local health stations play the role of “gatekeepers” of the healthcare system, helping to reduce the burden on higher-level hospitals and bringing healthcare services closer to the residents.
