The project is being implemented by the city’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, with financial support from the Adoptionscentrum (ACS), Sweden. The conference aimed to strengthen connections and cooperation among agencies, departments, organizations, and communities in protecting, caring for, and educating children. It also provided a platform for participants to exchange and share information, and propose solutions to enhance the effectiveness of inter-sectoral coordination in implementing activities related to child rights and adolescent reproductive health across the city.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hoa, President of Hue City’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, and Head of the AC - Sweden Project Management Board, emphasized the importance of multi-sectoral cooperation in ensuring children's fundamental rights, particularly in the context of issues related to adolescent reproductive health, child violence, and child abuse, which continue to pose significant challenges.

Through the program, the city’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights hopes to expand its inter-sectoral coordination network further and mobilize broader participation from all sectors of society in protecting, caring for, and promoting children's rights, thereby contributing to the creation of a safe and healthy environment where children can develop comprehensively.
