From July 20 to 26, at Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-cum-convention centre (IECC) in New Delhi, India, a delegation of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, led by Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, attended the programs within the framework of the session, according to the invitation from the Director of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee and Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO. In an effort to stimulate tourism and create a vibrant atmosphere to attract locals and visitors to the Imperial City Night Street, the People's Committee of Hue City has directed relevant agencies to organize community cultural and artistic activities on the evenings of June 21 and 22.

Not only popular in Europe and North America, caravan tourism is also becoming gradually popular in Vietnam as more and more people own their own vehicles, who are passionate about travel and want to experience driving on new routes. Hue has the potential to develop this attractive type of tourism, but finding the effective exploitation direction is needed.

Hue Monuments Conservation Center recently had a working session with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Ha Duong, managing director of the Vingroup Innovation Foundation – VinIF, to discuss the implementation process of the project “Restoring, training and teaching Hue tuong mask painting art - a traditional art form at high risk of being lost”. The project is built by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and sponsored by the VinIF.

Concerns about losing the “green” image of the heritage-rich ancient capital were prevalent when Thua Thien Hue province began developing industrial and economic zones (IZs and EZs) decades ago. However, through the province’s meticulous selection process, many of these zones have flourished, proving the right direction and significantly contributing to job creation and socio-economic development.
