Visiting Bao La Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative (Quang Phu commune, Quang Dien district), I met artisans who are hard at work keeping their professions and looking for new directions through their product design improvement. The direct flight connecting Hue with Incheon (South Korea) will take off on July 31. Hue's tourism sector and many travel businesses are pooling efforts to seek opportunities to develop tourism and open the market for Korean tourists in particular and international tourists in general.

Among the traditional handicrafts, the nón lá (conical hat) has become a cultural specialty for tourists when visiting Hue. It is necessary to have a suitable direction for restoring and further promoting the craft of making conical hats through community-based tourism activities.
