“Packaging Hue’s autumn” is a gentle metaphor expressed by the author Xuan An through a story about a seasonal gift tied to Hue’s autumn, and lovingly wrapped and sent to cherished ones far away. Ms. Xuan An wrote tenderly: “This morning, I received a gift from my brother in Kim Long: ‘I’m sending you Hue’s autumn gift from my garden, the finest thanh tra grapefruits’ ”. Suddenly, I felt an indescribable emotion! On this land of Hue, with its erratic rains and sun, there is no fruit tree that doesn’t carry the worries and care of the grower. One might think planting thanh tra is easy and requires little effort, but in fact, it takes a whole process of understanding the soil, understanding the tree, and nurturing it to yield a fruitful harvest. In my brother’s joy of gardening, there is always a heart devoted both to the trees and to Hue’s autumn: “Did you know that thanh tra is the fruit that preserves the flavor of Hue’s autumn? Walking under thanh tra trees, I can sense a special fragrance of Hue’s autumn gardens, gentle, refreshing, so the fruit not only brings economic value but also nourishes the soul”.

“Ngoc nga ke chuyen thu choi xua” is another narrative by the author Nhat Minh, inspired by the exhibition “Jade and Ivory in the Art of Belief” at the Museum of Nguyen Dynasty Commissioned Porcelains (No. 114 Mai Thuc Loan Street, Phu Xuan Ward). Within the museum’s intimate yet refined space, more than 100 artifacts ranging from jade to ivory were systematically and scientifically displayed, offering visitors a historical journey through objects. All of these exquisite masterpieces, crafted with great skill in Vietnam and across East Asian cultural regions, were painstakingly collected over decades by the museum’s owner, researcher Tran Dinh Son. Researcher Tran Dinh Son also shared: “I hope that this exhibition, in one way or another, will help visitors engage with these valuable artifacts and antiquities, while also highlighting the colorful mosaic of our nation’s cultural heritage and that of other countries. From there, people may develop a stronger sense of responsibility in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage”.
