On September 25, the “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, held a workshop to evaluate the waste sorting at source program in Hue City. The event also aimed to disseminate the environmental protection under the two-tier local government model.

Not only reaching the strong growth in visitor numbers, but the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 has also created a ripple effect in promoting the destination’s image and positioning the Ancient Capital’s tourism brand name among businesses and visitors. On September 23rd, a workshop on sharing experiences in implementing the Happy School Project was held in Hue City, jointly organized by the City’s Department of Education and Training, the University of Education - Hue University, and Eurasia Foundation.

On September 22, the Department of Science and Technology organized a training session for the authors and representatives of 30 ideas and projects selected for the semi-final of the 2025 Hue City Creative Startup Competition.

Recently, the Center for Tourism Information and Promotion under Hue City Department of Tourism, in collaboration with 4LLIN Co., Ltd. and Aeon Mall Hue, organized a conference to introduce the “Cultural and Artistic Experiential Tourism in Hue City” project. According to Director of Hue City Department of Tourism – Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, this is a new tourism project, with plans to be held regularly at Aeon Mall Hue.

A training course on design thinking and innovation for businesses is being organized by the Department of Finance, in collaboration with the Business Association on September 19 and 20, 2025.

On September 17 - 18, in Hue City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, together with the Department of Dike Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, in collaboration with UNICEF held a seminar with the theme “Training on Child-Centered Communication in the Situations of Natural Disasters”.

The National Sepak Takraw Championship 2025 for elite teams officially opened on the afternoon of September 15th at the square opposite Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. The tournament is co-organized by the Department of Culture & Sports and Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation.

“Resilience in the Eye of the Media Storm” was the theme of a seminar jointly organized by the Department of Finance, CSMO Vietnam, and Hue CEO Club on September 13th.

On the morning of September 14, at the Youth Center (57 Lam Hoang Street, Hue City), the city's Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, organized a contest on “First aid skills, and communication on voluntary blood donation, tissue donation, organ donation and climate change”. This event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of World First Aid Day (September 13, 2000 - September 13, 2025).
