Radiant Spring Vibe with “One Painting - Many Hopes”

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of January 4, the volunteer program “Radiant Spring Vibe” took place at the first-floor lobby of the Oncology Center at Hue Central Hospital, creating a warm, caring atmosphere for patients undergoing treatment in the oncology department and pediatric radiotherapy unit. The charity event was jointly organized by the “One Painting - Many Hopes” project and the City Women Business Association.

 The program was considered an encouragement and support for patients at the Oncology Department and pediatric patients undergoing treatment at the Pediatric Radiotherapy

Originating in Danang, the “One Painting - Many Hopes” project was established to accompany cancer patients and pediatric patients throughout their challenging treatment journeys. Over the years, the project has organized numerous meaningful charity activities at the Oncology and Pediatric Radiotherapy departments of Hue Central Hospital, leaving a lasting impression on patients and their families. “Radiant Spring Vibe” marked the project’s 65th volunteer Sunday afternoon, serving as the final charity program of 2025, marking the start of a new chapter of sharing in 2026.

On this occasion, the City Women Business Association presented 200 meaningful gifts to pediatric patients and those undergoing treatments, offering them encouragement and emotional support as they continue their fight against illness.

Sharing their motivation for joining the project, volunteers said that “One Painting - Many Hopes” remains committed to spreading compassion and providing long-term companionship to patients, ensuring that each charitable activity offers not only material support but also lasting emotional encouragement, helping to kindle faith and hope for those facing hardship.

On the morning of March 25, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had held a discharge ceremony for a pediatric patient with thalassemia (a hereditary blood disorder) following a successful bone marrow transplant using marrow donated by the patient’s older sister. This is the 15th thalassemia bone marrow transplant performed at the hospital, marking an important step forward in the treatment of genetic hematologic diseases.
