On the afternoon of December 22, a delegation from the Ministry of Construction, led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van, had an official meeting with Hue City People’s Committee on the implementation of smart city development in the city area.

On the afternoon of December 12, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung welcomed and had a meeting with a delegation from the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of the Republic of Korea, led by Mr. Kim Seokki, Chairman of the Committee, during their courtesy visit to the city.

On December 18, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had an official meeting with a delegation from Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, led by Mr. Liu Shih-Chung, Head of the Office’s Representative.

On the afternoon of December 16th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a reception and working session with a delegation from Carlsberg Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd. (Carlsberg) to discuss cooperation, promote collaboration, and outline future investment development directions.

On the afternoon of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh received and worked with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) led by Mr. Moussa Diarra, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation.

On December 6th, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) provided financial support to help residents of Hue City recover from the damage caused by the recent floods. Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, received and worked with the delegation.

On December 2 and 3, a working delegation from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, visited and presented financial support to South Central provinces to overcome damage after typhoons and floods.

On the afternoon of November 27, the working delegation of Ton Dong A Corporation presented a great number of school supplies to support students in the city area in overcoming damages caused by the recent floods.
