Hue delegation comprised 71 student-athletes, who competed in four sports: athletics, badminton, table tennis and traditional martial arts. They were selected from schools across the city based on their performances in training and competition.

Athletics continued to be Hue's strongest event, contributing the majority of the delegation's medals and earning the team the Encouragement Prize in the overall standings. A standout performer was Tran Anh Nhat, a student from Thuan An High School, who won the Gold medal in the boys' 200m event and the Silver medal in the boys' 100m event at the high school level.

The 2026 National School Sports Games was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Lam Dong Department of Education and Training. The competition attracted more than 2,200 student-athletes from 30 delegations nationwide, competing in five sports: swimming, athletics, badminton, table tennis and traditional martial arts, with a total of 214 sets of medals on offer.

The results not only recognized the efforts of the student-athletes and coaches but also reflected the effectiveness of physical education; discovering and nurturing sports talent in schools across Hue City, contributing to the promotion of physical fitness and the comprehensive development of students.
