Hoa Chau strengthens friendship ties with Cergy City (France)
HNN.VN - On July 4, the Hoa Chau Ward People’s Committee welcomed and held a working session with a delegation from Cergy City (French Republic), led by Ms. Malika Yebdri, First Deputy Mayor of Cergy in charge of Culture, Cultural Heritage, and International Cooperation.

Leaders of the Hoa Chau Ward People’s Committee and the Cergy delegation exchanged information on the locality’s development situation, school system, as well as educational and social welfare activities.
In addition to the working session, the Cergy delegation also surveyed several schools in the ward to assess their needs for investment support, schoolyard renovation, and the development of greener school campuses.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 50 gift packages to 50 students in difficult circumstances in the area. Each package included 500,000 VND in cash, along with a school bag and essential learning supplies, to encourage the students ahead of the 2026 -2027 academic year.

Mr. Vo Viet Duc, Vice Chairman of the Hoa Chau Ward People’s Committee, said that the delegation’s visit and working session carried practical significance, contributing to the strengthening of friendly relations and the expansion of cooperation between Hue City and Cergy City in general, and between Hoa Chau Ward and Cergy City in particular, especially in the fields of education, environmental protection, and cultural exchange.
