He said that the cooperation agreement signed on April 7, 2025, between Hue City People’s Committee and Pacific Construction Group had laid a solid foundation for strengthening investment promotion efforts between domestic and foreign businesses, as well as facilitating partnership connections for the implementation of cultural and socio-economic projects in the city.
Building on this foundation, Hue looks forward to continuing to receive the support from Pacific Construction Group in connecting resources and advancing investment cooperation, contributing to turning the city’s development ambitions into reality in the new phase.
Providing an overview of the city’s development potential, Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan emphasized that, as a centrally governed municipality, Hue possesses significant advantages in terms of its geo-economic location, rich cultural heritage, tourism assets, logistics network, marine economy, and high-quality human resources.
In line with Resolution No. 54 of the Politburo, Hue aims to become a distinctive and major hub in Southeast Asia for culture, tourism, specialized healthcare, education and training, and science and technology. To realize this vision, the city is prioritizing the mobilization of diverse funding sources, particularly foreign direct investment (FDI), official development assistance (ODA), and international investment funds, to support the comprehensive development of socio-economic infrastructure.
