On the morning of October 6, Hue University held the final round and awarding ceremony for the “7th Hue University Startup and Innovation Idea Competition 2024” with a desire to bring practical values to the community.

To prepare for the upcoming final round of the Provincial Innovation Startup Competition 2024, on September 30, the Department of Science and Technology held a training session for representatives of 15 ideas and projects competing in the final round of this competition.

On September 16, the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Innovative Startup Competition 2024 held the semi-final judging round, following the preliminary screening of submitted applications.

In the joyful atmosphere, celebrating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Department of Culture and Sports organized the 35th Traditional Boat Racing Competition of Thua Thien Hue province on the morning of September 2, with the participation of 9 units from wards and communes of 9 districts, towns and Hue City.

Invited to participate in the 2024 World Grand Prix Model Competition in Korea by the Korean Institute of Traditional Culture & ORIHERI, four representatives from Hue, among many from Vietnam, achieved significant awards, with Nguyen Ngoc Phon honored with the First prize.

On August 4, a traditional boat racing competition was held in Phong Hoa commune as part of a festival themed “Old Scent of the Ancient Village” in Phong Dien district in 2024.

After two months of launching, Vietnam's Piano Got Talent 2024 competition has received thousands of applications, and more than 400 contestants have passed the preliminary round to advance to the direct competition round at the Song Huong Theater - Hue Academy of Music (Hue City).

From 300 entries in the preliminary round, the organizers selected 50 works by 50 students to compete in the finals of the 2024 children's drawing competition based on books, themed: "Hue through childhood drawings."

At the 15th annual competition for excellent students from specialized high schools in the Coastal and Northern Delta region held in Hai Duong, students from Quoc Hoc – Hue High School for the Gifted won a total of 29 medals and awards. The closing ceremony and award presentation took place on the afternoon of July 17th.

On the morning of June 23rd, the Organizing Board of Hue-ICT Challenge 2024 awarded prizes for the creative information technology (IT) product competition to participated college and university students and reckoned up the Hue-ICT Challenge 2024.
