This is the 10th year that the Hue City Creative Startup Competition is held under the framework of the Ancient Capital Startup Project, in the period of 2021 - 2025. On September 12 and 15, the Department of Science and Technology - the standing agency of the Competition - convened the Jury Council to evaluate the preliminary round and selected 30 startup ideas and projects out of a total of 94 registered entries.

This year, the competition will be evaluated based on 7 criteria, including the innovativeness and creativity of the idea or project; its commercialization potential and growth capacity; the completeness of its business model/plan; the level of economic and social impact and significance it brings about; the resources for implementation, including readiness to scale up business and establish a company after the competition; presentation skills (for the semi-final and final rounds); as well as other criteria.

The training session was held to prepare for the semi-final, scheduled for early October, and help representatives of the 30 ideas and projects perform well in several of the competition’s evaluation criteria, including the ability to present their ideas and projects and respond to questions from the judging committee. In the framework of the training session, representatives of the 30 ideas and projects received guidance from Mr. Truong Thanh Hung, Vice Chairman of the National Innovation and Startup Advisory Council, on general presentation skills and how to refine the content of their project presentations.

This year, from the 30 ideas and projects competing in the semi-final, the Organizing Committee will select 15 to advance to the final round, where 13 prizes will be awarded to the winning ideas and projects.
