Bui Hoang Dai Duong, a Quoc Hoc - Hue student, participates in International Biology Olympiad 2025
HNN.VN - At the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2025, Bui Hoang Dai Duong, a 12th grade student, Biology major, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, is one of four members of the Vietnamese team participating in the competition.

The International Biology Olympiad 2025 is taking place from July 20 to 27 in Quezon City, the Philippines. This year's competition brings together 312 outstanding students from 78 countries and territories.
The Vietnamese team participating in the IBO 2025 includes: Bui Hoang Dai Duong from Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted; Nguyen Huu Thanh from Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong; and Le Hoang Kieu Anh and Nguyen Luong Thai Duy from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
The team members have honed their practical skills, expanded their theoretical knowledge, and participated in interleaved tests. They also visited laboratories of universities and research institutes to enhance their practical skills…
The International Biology Olympiad is one of the most prestigious and highly regarded competitions for high school students around the world.
In recent years, Vietnamese students have consistently achieved high results at the International Biology Olympiads. In 2024, the Vietnamese team excellently won 3 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal, ranking among the top countries in the competition. Notably, Ho Duc Trung, a student from Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, won a Silver Medal.
