The conference was held to implement the Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on January 24, 2025 by the Politburo on “International Integration in the new situation”, the Resolution No.57-NQ/TW by the Politburo on December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, creative innovation, and national digital transformation, and the Resolution No.38/NQ-CP on April 25, 2017 by the Government, which issued the Government’s Action Plan to implement the Resolution No.06-NQ/TW on “Effectively Implementation on the Process of International Economic Integration, Ensuring Political - Social Stability, in the context of Vietnam’s Participation in New Generation Free Trade Agreements”.
The training program focused on the following contents: Guiding the implementation of the latest regulations on foreign affairs and international cooperation from the Party and the State; Sharing global and regional situation, its impacts and effects on Vietnam in general and Hue City in particular; Commitments to international integration, opportunities, challenges, benefits, and responsibilities of businesses and localities when implementing new-generation free trade agreements in the field of science and technology (regarding intellectual property rights, scientific and technological standards, information integration, etc.,); International integration and opportunities for investment and trade cooperation in the field of science and technology.
The training content helped delegates and trainees enhance their awareness, correctly understand the essence of international integration events, and the urgency of strengthening domestic preparations for international integration. It also boosted their understanding of the importance of integration and international cooperation in promoting the development of science and technology - innovation.
The speakers also provided the latest information on trends, policies, and opportunities for international cooperation in the field of science and technology, orienting and disseminating government policies and strategies on international integration in science and technology; thence, encouraging the participation of relevant stakeholders, contributing to the application of international science and technology achievements into practice, enhancing competitiveness, and promoting sustainable development.

| Pressing the button to launch the Online Competition to explore Digital Transformation in Hue City in 2025 |
On this occasion, the Department of Science and Technology officially launched the 2025 online competition in exploring Digital Transformation in Hue City (the Competition).
The competition takes place from September 12 to October 12, 2025, with the following goals, including Rasing awareness and digital skills for the community: Helping officials, civil servants, students, businesses, and residents gain a better understanding of the policies, benefits, and applications of digital transformation in daily life, work, and urban management; Promoting the use and effective exploitation of the Hue-S platform: Encouraging residents to experience, interact, and regularly use online public services and smart city features on Hue-S, contributing to the formation of digital habits; Creating a movement to encourage and spread digital transformation across the city: Building an enthusiastic, creative environment for learning, exploring, and sharing knowledge about digital transformation, thereby contributing to the goal of improving the city’s digital transformation index ranking.
The competition is held in the form of an online multiple-choice quiz on the Hue-S app, consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions and 1 question asking participants to predict the number of people who would correctly answer all 20 questions in the competition.
The content of the competition focuses on understanding the Party’s guidelines, the State’s laws, documents from central ministries and agencies, as well as policies from Hue City on digital transformation, smart city services, knowledge of online public services, the Hue-S platform, and Digital Transformation Index (DTI)... with the goal of building a digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
