On the morning of February 1st, as part of a series of activities celebrating the Communist Party and welcoming in the Year of the Horse, Phu Loc Commune held a ceremony to unveil its Spring 2026 mascot - “Linh Ma Bach Van” (Spirit Horse & White Clouds), carrying the message “Aspiring to Soar with Bach Ma.”

On the morning of February 1, at Co.opmart Hue supermarket, Hue City Young Entrepreneurs Association, in collaboration with Hue City Cooperative Alliance and Saigon Co.op, held the opening ceremony for a Tet Fair themed “Stop by for Tet and you’ll like it - Step in and you’ll love it - Co.opmart Hue: Available on the shelf, ready to buy”.

On the morning of January 31st, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) provided Tet gifts for residents of Hue City through Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Hue City. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of Hue City VFFC, attended the handover ceremony.

On the morning of January 27, at Kim Long Motor Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly industrial park, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held a ceremony on signing a strategic cooperation with BYD Battery, one of the world’s leading companies in batteries and new energy vehicles, while also breaking ground on the BYD battery manufacturing plant.

On the morning of January 24, the City’s Red Cross Society, in coordination with the local authorities of Chan May - Lang Co Commune and the main sponsor, Heineken Brewery Vietnam Co., Ltd., held the opening ceremony of the “Humanitarian Tet Market - Spring of Binh Ngo 2026” and presented 300 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged residents in the commune.

On the afternoon of January 23rd, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded doctoral, master’s, engineer and veterinarian degrees for Phase 1 of 2026.

On the afternoon of January 23, Hue City Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to announce the recruitment decisions and work assignments for teachers, who successfully passed the teacher recruitment examination for the academic year 2025 - 2026.

On the evening of January 16, Hue University held the 24th Nguyen Truong To Scholarship Award Ceremony for its students for the 2025-2026 academic year.

On the afternoon of January 15, the City’s Sports Training and Competition Center held a review and commendation ceremony honoring coaches and athletes who were awarded prestigious State titles and achieved outstanding results at the 33rd SEA Games.

On the afternoon of January 14th, at the National Convention Center in My Dinh, Hanoi, a ceremony was held to inaugurate the Press Center, along with an international press conference on the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
