Over 1,200 Youth Union members and students join Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

Being ready to embark on the Summer Volunteer Campaign

The event marked the beginning of a series of peak volunteer programs organized by Hue University’s youth, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding and development of Hue University (1957 - 2027). It also aims to promote the pioneering and volunteer spirit of Youth Union members and young people in contributing to socio-economic development, environmental protection, and community well-being.

The 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign carries special significance as it focuses on implementing and concretizing the “Vietnamese Youth Accompanying Children and Youth in Border Areas in the 2025 - 2030 Period” Project. Accordingly, Hue University has established 14 specialized volunteer teams comprising more than 1,200 volunteer participants, including young officials, lecturers, and students. These teams will carry out a wide range of practical activities in border communes, ethnic minority areas, remote areas, and areas facing particular hardship in Hue City, and Quang Tri Province.

A key highlight of the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is the strong support from socialized funding sources, with total funding of nearly 1 billion VND. Of this, the “For Green Future” Foundation of Vingroup has contributed nearly 600 million VND to support the construction of practical youth projects.
