On the morning of July 3rd, Hue City Blind Association (HCBA) held a mid-year review conference to assess its activities during the first six months of 2025, outline tasks for the second half of the year, and review the five-year implementation of the 2021-2025 support program for people with disabilities (PWDs).

With the motto “Sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character,” the “Green Sunday” movement has been brought to life by the youth of Hue City through practical, community-oriented models and activities, aiming to engage and unite people from all walks of life.

On the evening of June 1, Hue City’s Youth Activity Center organized the opening ceremony for its summer activities and the final round of the 2025 International Folk Dance and Modern Dance Festival.

After a week of activities, the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival, Hue - 2025, organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, closed on the afternoon of May 28.

This was the directive from Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, at the launching ceremony for a water safety and drowning prevention program for residents, children, and students in the area. The event took place at Thuan An beach on the morning of May 24.

May 16, 2025 saw a range of activities in Hue to commemorate the 200th birth anniversary of renowned cultural luminary Dang Huy Tru. The Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, in collaboration with the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Hue City, held a seminar titled "Commemorating the 200th Birth Anniversary of Cultural Luminary and Founder of Vietnamese Photography Dang Huy Tru ."

On May 19, in Phu Loc district, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Hue City, in coordination with Hue Central Hospital and the People's Committee of Phu Loc district, organized the opening ceremony of the 8th “Red Journey - Red Drops of Hue” program in 2025. This event is part of a series of activities in response to the nationwide blood donation campaign – the Red Journey, towards the celebration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

Many major projects that have completed investment procedures and begun construction in the early months of the year are expected to create new momentum to help Hue thrive.

To spread the value of Hue Bookcase and reading culture within schools, Hue City Institute for Development Studies has organized activities to introduce Hue Bookcase in schools. Hue Today newspaper recently had a conversation with Mr. Cung Trong Cuong, Director of Hue City Institute for Development Studies, about these initiatives.

The academic exchange activities between the Faculty of Environment, University of Sciences, Hue University, and international students have created many meaningful experiences, spreading the spirit of sustainable development and cultural connection.
