Launching Youth Month 2026:

Over 500 million VND allocated for community-oriented projects and activities

HNN.VN - On the morning of March 1, Hue City Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Federation of Hue City organized the Youth Month Kick-off Ceremony and launched the Tet Tree-planting Festival “Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho” in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 in Huong Thuy Ward.

This year’s Youth Month is being implemented with the spirit of “Three pioneering actions” and “Four proactive initiatives”, setting forth numerous new tasks and challenges that demand determination, dynamism, and creativity from all levels of the Youth Union.

At the launching ceremony, many community-oriented social welfare projects and activities were initiated, including providing capital support for 2 youth startup models; and distributing 30 gift sets to people affected by natural disasters; etc. The total value of these activities exceeds 500 million VND.

Following the launching ceremony, Youth Union members and young people simultaneously carried out tree planting activities in response to the 2026 Tet Tree-planting Festival “Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho”; launched environmental clean-up activities in connection with the “Green Sunday” movement; and organized free medical examinations and medicine distribution for 200 people; at the same time, conducted digital transformation training courses on “Digital Literacy for All”, and dissemination of new tax policies.

On the morning of August 1, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh, together with Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, conducted an on-site inspection of construction progress at the boarding inter-level schools (primary and secondary level) in the communes of A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4.
