Attending the program were Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Board of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; leaders of Hue Central Hospital; and representatives of various departments, agencies, and socio-political organizations.

The program was directed and implemented by Ms. Dang Thi Kim Oanh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Kim Oanh Group, who also serves as Chairwoman of the Khoi Su Tu Tam Foundation and is a Hue-born entrepreneur living away from her hometown.

As part of the program, the delegation conducted Buddhist charitable activities and presented gifts at several religious establishments in Hue, including Long Tho Pagoda, Uu Dam Pagoda, and Duc Son Pagoda.

At these locations, more than 200 disadvantaged children received lucky money at the beginning of the new year; pagodas were provided with financial support for offerings; tons of rice along with many practical gifts were handed directly to local residents. In addition, Buddhist charitable activities were carried out at 150 pagodas across the city, with gifts and financial assistance contributing to local efforts to care for residents at the start of the spring season.

As part of the program’s activities, the Foundation implemented the “Happiness Sprouts” initiative, presenting gifts to 200 disadvantaged patients receiving treatment at Hue Central Hospital. Each gift package included cash support and essential necessities, helping to encourage patients and alleviate part of their families’ financial burden.

The program also presented gifts to disadvantaged children in the area and to 150 members of the Blind Association of Phu Vang District, supporting them in welcoming the Lunar New Year in a warm and compassionate atmosphere.

This round of activities by the Khoi Su Tu Tam Foundation totaled nearly 700 million VND in Tet gifts

In addition, the Foundation awarded five scholarships under the “Self-Reliance Scholarship for Myself” project to resilient students, providing further motivation for them to continue striving in their studies and in life.

Sharing at the event, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Oanh expressed her emotion: “Hue is always in my heart, wherever I go or whatever I do. As Chairwoman of the Khoi Su Tu Tam Foundation, I hope that ‘Gieo Xuan’ will not only be an annual charitable activity but a sustained journey of sharing. Each gift delivered is a seed of love, a gesture of gratitude to my hometown, and a responsibility of entrepreneurs toward the community”.

After three seasons, “Gieo Xuan” has continued to affirm its profound humanitarian significance, spreading the spirit of mutual support and collaborating with the locality to effectively implement social welfare work, fostering a compassionate and sustainable development in Hue.
