On the afternoon of December 11th, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a graduation ceremony to confer Level I Specialist degrees for the 2023 - 2025 cohort and for the Level I Specialist program under Project 585 of the Ministry of Health.

On December 10th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held the inauguration ceremony for the Italian ODA building, constructed using concessional loans from the Government of Italian Republic along with domestic counterpart funding.

On December 6th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held its 14th Postgraduate Scientific Conference for 2025.

On the afternoon of December 1, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a conference to officially transfer Hue Medical College - previously under the management of Hue City People’s Committee - to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in accordance with Decision No. 2346/QĐ-TTg dated October 23, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister.

On the morning of November 22nd, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister’s Decision on the merger of Hue Medical College into the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in accordance with Decision No. 2346/QD-TTg dated October 23rd, 2025.

Hoang Ngoc Vinh An, a medical student, representing Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, surpassed many contestants from medical and pharmacy universities across the country to win the Second Prize in the “National Medical and Pharmacy Students’ Model Session” competition. This achievement helped Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy make a mark at the “9th National Medical Education Conference - 2025”, held at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in early November.

On October 23, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed Decision No. 2346/QĐ-TTg on the merger of Hue College of Medicine into the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

On September 26th - 27th, the 2025 National Scientific Conference on Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (A&R) took place in Hue City, co-organized by Vietnam Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Hue City Department of Health, Hue Central Hospital, and the Hospital of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The event brought together more than 1.000 doctors, specialists, scientists, postgraduate students from Vietnam and abroad, along with representatives of healthcare enterprises.

On September 27, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy’s Hospital, in collaboration with Nagoya University, Japan, organized an international workshop with the theme: “Nagoya - Hue UMP Endoscopy Workshop 2025: Advancing Gastrointestinal Care Together”.
