Noticeable was the opening of the oil painting exhibition by Hoang Nhu Thuy An at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center. Hoang Nhu Thuy An is Hoang Nhu Bua’s pseudonym, born in 1948, originally from Cau Hai (Cao Do) in Phu Loc, Hue, but currently living in Da Lat. The special thing is that all those paintings were painted after his stroke culminating in hemiplegia. He has learnt to paint with his left hand since then.

There is a female “warrior of the pen” who has spread the love for life and positivity with a heart full of affection and deep gratitude. That is Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ha (Group 5, An Cuu Ward, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City), a member of Hue Writers’ Association.

On June 25, Vice Chairmen of Hue City People’s Committee, including Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, and Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, conducted field inspections and working sessions with local authorities regarding preparations and operation of the two-level local government model.
