The heritage space of Hue’s Imperial Citadel is being retold in a new language, the language of technology. Ngoc Linh ginseng is an endemic medicinal plant species with exceptional medical and economic value. However, the natural distribution area of this ginseng species is currently minimal, while the demand for conservation, development, and sustainable exploitation continues to grow. Building on the strong foundation of Hue Central Hospital, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University; and a primary healthcare system undergoing comprehensive reform, Hue is steadily affirming its position as a center for advanced, specialized medical care, with a vision toward becoming a regional hub in Southeast Asia.

On the morning of January 11, Hue Department of Health, in coordination with the Central Committee of Vietnam Young Physicians Association and Viettel Hue, organized a program providing free medical check-ups, health consultations, medicine distribution, and gifts for policy families and disadvantaged households in Hoa Chau Ward.

During his visit to Hue in early November 2025, General Secretary To Lam conveyed a message to the city’s Party Committee, authorities, and people: Hue must preserve its cultural identity and the distinctive character of Hue people amid a new phase of development. That reminder was not merely an expectation, but a guiding orientation for the entire term.
