On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on the evening of February 2, Hue City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City organized a Spring Reception to meet, congratulate, and express gratitude to diplomatic agencies, international organizations, investors, experts, and friends, who have partnered and cooperated with the locality over the past years.

Alongside business support policies from the Central Government, Hue City has also introduced tailored, distinctive support mechanisms to spur business development, aiming to have around 12,000 businesses operating stably by 2030.

On the morning of January 31st, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) provided Tet gifts for residents of Hue City through Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Hue City. According to the information announced by Hue Central Hospital on the morning of January 29, following a period of exchanges and discussions, it had organized the signing of an agreement on professional capacity transfer and medical cooperation with TTH Group, including TTH Ha Tinh General Hospital and TTH Quang Binh General Hospital, as well as Vinmec Healthcare System.

On January 27th, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, together with representatives of city departments and agencies, received and worked with a high-level delegation from Vientiane Capital (Laos). The delegation was led by Comrade Tha Nong Xay Khut Phay Thun, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and Head of the Investment Promotion and Economic Management Board of Vientiane Capital.
