On January 6, Mr. Nguyen Anh, Chairman of Long Quang Commune People’s Committee, said that the commune police, in coordination with Nam Dong Area Forest Protection Unit, had received a rare impressed tortoise voluntarily handed over by a local resident.

The 4th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the city, for the 2025 - 2030 term, was held on December 26. Attending the Congress were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien; Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang; along with representatives of departments, agencies, sectors, and a large number of association members.

On December 24, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang conducted an inspection of housing construction for people under the “Quang Trung Campaign”, the allocation of resettlement land for households in landslide-prone areas, and the processing of administrative procedures in the communes, including Khe Tre, Nam Dong, and Long Quang (part of formerly Nam Dong District).

On the afternoon of December 17, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, in coordination with the Tourism Development Support Fund and the Department of Tourism of Hue City, organized the National Conference on Net Zero Tourism in Hue. Attending the event was Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee.

On the afternoon of December 16th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a reception and working session with a delegation from Carlsberg Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd. (Carlsberg) to discuss cooperation, promote collaboration, and outline future investment development directions.
