Officers of the Mobile Police Division participated in blood donation to help successfully rescue a patient with blood cancer

Previously, on May 15, the Mobile Police Division received an urgent request from the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Department of Hue Central Hospital regarding the case of Le Thi M., the patient (born in 1990, suffering from blood cancer and severe anemia), who was in critical condition and urgently needed a blood transfusion of blood type A. However, the hospital was currently experiencing a shortage of this blood type, with insufficient blood for the patient. Immediately, the Party Committee and Command Board of the Mobile Police Division quickly informed and mobilized officers of the unit, with the same blood type, to be ready to assist.

Immediately after receiving the information, three officers, including Corporal Phan Van Binh, Nguyen Van Viet, and Ho Van Tan from the Target Protection Police Team, reported the case to their leaders and quickly went to the hospital to carry out the emergency blood donation procedures. Thanks to the timely blood donation, the patient Le Thi M., was rescued from critical condition by doctors and nurses of Hue Central Hospital. The patient's health has now improved, and is being monitored and treated according to the hospital's protocol.

This prompt and humane action received a letter of gratitude from the patient's family sent to the City Police Department's Board of Directors and the unit's Command Board. The officers' action not only demonstrates the spirit of “Serving the People”, but also spread the beautiful images of the People's Police officers in the hearts of the people.
