On average, Hue Central Hospital needs about 150 units of blood daily for emergency and treatment purposes, but during the time leading up to and after Tet holiday, the demand often increases. This is the second time in 2024 that the “White Blouse, Red Heart” voluntary blood donation festival has been organized. The first event of the year attracted the participation of 400 hospital staff.

By noon of the same day, the Center for Hematology and Blood Transfusion received 250 units of blood.

Blood donation is an annual activity of Hue Central Hospital, aiming to foster the solidarity, compassion, and spread noble deeds. At the same time, it contributes to supplementing the blood supply for treatment during the upcoming Tet holiday.
