Ms. Nhi Vo, from Safari Kid Preschool, guided the children in making tet cakes and explained the significance of the activity. Following her instructions and with the help of their parents, the children made the cakes themselves. Through this experience, they also practiced dexterity, focus, and patience.

In addition to the activity of cooking tet cakes, the children also got an opportunity to experience painting Tet-themed artworks, making “li xi” (lucky money) envelopes, and playing the traditional game o an quan

Sharing the reason for initiating this program, Ms. Nhi Vo said: “If the younger generations do not continue activities like this, traditional values will fade away. I hope this activity will help future generations preserve these traditions”.

Mr. Pham Ho Hoang Long, a parent who brought his two children to the event, remarked that activities like these help children gain a better understanding of their grandparent’s traditions while also helping them to develop their social communication skills from an early age.

Ms. Truong Thi My Dung, head of the Hue Book and Culture Club, shared that the club plans to organize similar activities recurrently to provide children with more enriching experiences.
