In Hue’s art circles, artisan Do Huu Triet is known for helping revive Phap lam after a long period of absence.

On February 8, the People's Committee of Phong Thai Ward held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish and launch the Phong Thai Yellow Apricot Club.

The exhibition “Memories lit by colors” by two artists, namely Hoang Dang Khanh and Tran Anh Huy, unfolds like a story of life’s memories told through painting, evoking a profound sense of emotion in viewers.

Taking place over two days, February 7 - 8 (the 20th and 21st days of At Ty lunar December), the program “Kim Long Tet - Where Tradition Shines” features a wide range of activities rich in Hue cultural identity.

This marks the first time Phu Xuan Ward has organized an event on such a scale, spanning multiple spaces of significant historical value, including the Imperial Academy, Ham Nghi Square, and 23 Thang 8 Street.

The festival activities will take place in a vibrant atmosphere, featuring a wide range of traditional cultural, artistic, and sporting events.

“Nghien cuu Hue” (“Researching Hue”) is a series of books about Hue, born out of researchers’ deep affection for Hue culture. The series is considered the continuity of the B.A.V.H. by the Association of Friends of Ancient Hue.

The Spring 2026 mascot “Linh Ma Bach Van”, depicted as a white winged horse, bears a strong mark of creativity, embodying cultural and historical values as well as the development aspirations of the locality.

On the evening of January 31, Hue City Youth Center organized a traditional Tet experience program titled “The scent of Vietnamese spring”, under the theme “Spring of connection - Peaceful Tet”.

In 2025, the Huong Giang Poetry Association maintained regular activities, organized exchanges, introduced new literary works, and participated in local cultural and artistic events.

On 7 January, on behalf of the Politburo, General Secretary To Lam signed and promulgated Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on the development of Vietnamese culture.

The exhibition serves as both a reunion and a dialogue, bringing together horse paintings by master artist Le Ba Dang alongside dozens of horse-themed works by artists from Hue, as well as Danang and Quang Tri.

The program is part of the Local Education curriculum, aiming to help students gain a deeper understanding of local history and culture, thereby fostering love for their homeland and an awareness of traditional cultural heritage values
