That was one of the highlights of Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center in 2024, as announced by the Executive Board of Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center on January 23.
Accordingly, Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center has organized many exhibitions, awarded scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, invited prestigious domestic and international scholars to give presentations, exchange knowledge; and cooperate and exchange cultures with specialized agencies, and social charities, etc. These activities have created an environment for knowledge exchange, cultural exchange, and dissemination of basic Buddhist knowledge to many segments of the population and generations, contributing practically to the cultural life of the locality.
Notably, many publications of the Lieu Quan journal published by Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center over the past year have been widely distributed throughout provinces and cities nationwide as well as overseas, gaining the trust and enthusiastic encouragement of the venerable monks, learned masters, and a large number of readers.
In 2025, the Executive Board of Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center stated that it would focus on a number of Buddhist affairs related to expertise; specifically, focusing on preparing a preliminary project on Dong Duong Buddhist Studies in Quang Nam; reviewing and providing professional advice on the project to build a list of ranked pagodas as city-level and national-level relics proposed by the Department of Culture and Sports. Along with that, related cultural and artistic events will be organized.

Lieu Quan publication No. 34 launched on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 |
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake in 2025, Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center has launched and introduced to the public the Lieu Quan publication No. 34, focusing on the topic “New materials on the Lieu Quan Zen sect through ancient textual research”. The topic includes related articles such as: Historical materials on the Lieu Quan Zen sect in the 18th century through the text “Chuan De hoi thich”; a preliminary study of the printed copies of the Dharma Lotus Flower Sutra sponsored and engraved by the ancestors of Lieu Quan Zen sect; and a preliminary study of the Du-gia sections engraved by the ancestors of the Lieu Quan Zen sect...
Also in this publication, there are articles related to Tet in the Zen monastery, to memories of Hue Tet by authors, namely Nguyen Tuong Bach, Tran Kiem Doan, Tran Tuan Man, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Ha, and Thai Kim Lan, etc. At the end of the Lieu Quan publication No. 34, there is also a part commemorating three laypeople and intellectuals, including Phan Dang, Nguyen Pho, and Nguyen Phuc Vinh Ba for their significant contributions to the cultural and educational cause of Buddhism in the country.
