USD-170-million-AEON MALL Shopping Center to be built in Thua Thien Hue

The purpose of this MOU is to strengthen the cooperation between Thua Thien Hue province and AEON MALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. to build AEON MALL Shopping Center in Thua Thien Hue province with Japanese standards; thereby, contributing to improving the quality, services and living conditions for people, investors, businesses that are investing, doing business and living in the province.

At the signing ceremony, the two sides acknowledged the cooperation efforts and achievements for the development of the community of AEON MALL Co., Ltd in Vietnam over the past time. Thua Thien Hue will support AEON MALL Co., Ltd. to invest in the new AEON MALL shopping center project in the province with an estimated total investment of about USD 170 million. At the same time, the province will also support AEON MALL Co., Ltd in implementating the project's legal procedures, ensuring the fastest and simplest settlement of procedures; as well as apply mechanisms and policies on incentives and investment support of the State for the project according to current regulations.

AEON MALL Co., Ltd. will contribute to improving the quality of goods and services supply to the people of Thua Thien Hue province through the implementation of large-scale projects. At the same time, Thua Thien Hue continues to strengthen cooperation with Japanese investors in the field of investment and development of commercial center projects; actively coordinate and promote to other Japanese partners and investors about the investment and business environment of Thua Thien Hue province.
