Ryukyu University desires to cooperate with Hue to develop agricultural products

HNN.VN - On the afternoon of February 14, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting session with the delegation from Ryukyu Okinawa University (Japan) coming to seek cooperation opportunities and transfer technique in developing agricultural products.

Mr. Sueyoshi Nariyuki, Professor of the Ryukyu Okinawa University thanked the welcoming, consideration and support of provincial leaders, as well as the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University for helping Ryukyu Okinawa University introduce and carry out the tests on some new technical and agricultural products.

Mr. Sueyoshi Nariyuki hoped that in the coming time, the province would support and create conditions for the new products and projects of Ryukyu Okinawa University to be completed soon and widely applied, contributing to the agricultural development of the province.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong highly appreciated the goodwill, as well as the ideas to develop agricultural products in Hue which have been deployed by Ryukyu Okinawa University.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong said that Thua Thien Hue is focusing on developing agriculture towards sustainable, and safe direction with high-tech application. Therefore, he desired more units could cooperate and support the province exploiting effectively all potentials and advantages; developing agriculture fast, qualitatively, effectively and sustainably under the model of circulating economy; ensuring the harmony between growth, environmental protection, and social stability. At the same time, he committed to create conditions for Ryukyu Okinawa University to deploy quality products and projects.
