Thua Thien Hue shares experience in preserving architecture and landscape of heritage urban

HNN.VN - On the morning of December 19th, Gifu Prefecture (Japan) in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Department of Foreign Affairs, Hue Monuments Conservation Center, and the School of Hospitality and Tourism – Hue University co-organized a seminar on “Preservation of landscapes and instruction on the installation of information boards in relic areas”.

Japanese expert sharing experience at the seminar

This activity is part of the cooperation program between Thua Thien Hue and Gifu Prefecture.

At the seminar, a representative of Takayama City Bureau of Cultural Heritage and Education (Gifu Prefecture) shared the city’s experience in conserving and restoring wooden structures. Meanwhile, a representative of Takayama’s Urban Planning Department introduced initiatives to preserve the streets and introduced how to install advertisement and outdoor instruction boards at tourist spots and landscapes to achieve high efficiency.

Delegates, researchers and tourism businesses of the two localities also discussed and exchanged experiences, and thereby, to suggest more good solutions for Thua Thien Hue province in heritage conservation to create a beauty for Hue heritage urban in the future.
