Building a vocational education ecosystem and global employment connections
HNN.VN - On the afternoon of September 12, Hue Industrial College (HueIC), in collaboration with Ube National College of Technology (Ube KOSEN, Japan), held a seminar themed ‘The KOSEN - Enterprise - Student ecosystem: From competency standardization to global employment connections and innovation’.
|
| The seminar focused on discussing new requirements for technical workforce training |
The KOSEN model aims to train practical engineers by combining foundational knowledge with vocational skills, problem-solving abilities, and creativity. At the seminar, delegates focused on discussions around building an ecosystem linking KOSEN, schools, enterprises, and students, thereby standardizing learning outcomes, promoting innovation, and improving the quality of teaching staff.
Through reports, presentations, and shared practical experience, delegates exchanged views on curriculum development, competency standards, and assessment methods, aiming for graduates to be able to immediately meet job requirements in production environments.
* Earlier that same morning, Hue Industrial College also held a conference themed ‘Improving the quality of vocational training amid green transformation and digital transformation: Perspectives from training management’.

The conference focused on the need to shift from traditional management to data and digital technology-based governance. In particular, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies was proposed as a way to personalize learning, strengthen self-directed learning capacity, and enhance transparency in testing and assessment.
Alongside digital transformation, training programs are also required to undergo ‘green transformation’, from integrating green skills to updating new requirements for sustainable production. This requires teachers and education managers to enhance their digital competencies, their ability to apply AI, and regularly update their knowledge of technologies and techniques in production.
