The Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue City, the Thieu Nien Tien Phong & Nhi Dong Newspaper in Hue, and Hue City Post Office, launched the 55th UPU International Letter-Writing Competition in 2026 for students aged 9 to 15.

On the morning of January 17, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, Hue University, and Hue City Youth Union jointly organized the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Program at Hue City Youth Activity Center.

On the morning of January 10, the Youth Union of Hue Newspaper and Radio - Television, in collaboration with sponsors, including: Ba Ria - Vung Tau House Development Joint Stock Company (HODECO), and Thua Thien Hue Construction Joint Stock Company, organized the “Supporting students to school” scholarship awarding ceremony for students in difficult circumstances in Dan Dien Commune.

On the morning of December 20, at Hue Central Hospital, Vietnam Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (VASLD), and Vietnamese Society of Hepato Biliary Pancreatic Surgery (VSHBPS), in collaboration with Hue Central Hospital, held the opening ceremony of the 18th National Conference of VASLD & VSHBPS with the theme “Promotion of developing for technical progress”, and simultaneously launched the Minimally Invasive Treatment for HBP Chapter of VASLD.

On the morning of December 19, at Duyet Thi Duong - Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments of Conservation Center, in collaboration with Hue International Forum (HIF), hosted the 4th Hue International Forum in 2025 under the theme “Accompanying Comprehensive Development - Building a Sustainable Future”.

That was the theme of the First National Scientific Conference for Law Students in 2025, held by the network of Law Training Institutions in Vietnam, in collaboration with the University of Law, Hue University; Hanoi Law University, and Ho Chi Minh University of Industry and Trade on December 19.

On the afternoon of December 18, at the Ruong House space - the Royal Treasury Palace (Hue Imperial Citadel), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with Phygital Labs, officially launched the Culture - Heritage - Technology Experience Space.

On the afternoon of December 16th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a reception and working session with a delegation from Carlsberg Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd. (Carlsberg) to discuss cooperation, promote collaboration, and outline future investment development directions.

On the afternoon of December 10, Hue City Fine Arts Association, in collaboration with the University of Arts, Hue University, organized the opening ceremony of the Fine Arts Exhibition celebrating the 74th anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Traditional Day (December 10, 1951 - December 10, 2025). The event attracted the participation of many artists and students.
