To timely serve visitors during the upcoming Hung Kings Commemoration Day and the April 30 - May 1 holidays, on April 22, the Department of Tourism announced communication channels to provide information on accommodation and tourism services.

The tourism market on the occasion of Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the April 30th – May 1st holiday in 2026 began heating up as early as the beginning of March. Unlike previous years, travelers are increasingly booking earlier and favoring short-haul trips over long-haul experiential journeys.

On the morning of March 26th, in Chan May - Lang Co Commune (Hue City), FUTA Land Real Estate Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for Chan May Social Housing Project (located in Chan May Urban Area, Lot No. 8). The event was held to mark the 51st anniversary of Hue Liberation Day (March 26th, 1975 - March 26th, 2026).

After three days of active and effective working, the 5th Organization of World Heritage Cities Asia-Pacific (OWHC-AP) Regional Conference officially concluded on October 16. The event brought together more than 50 delegates from 7 countries, including mayors, experts, and representatives of member cities in the region.
