This serves as a solid foundation for the two localities to further expand cooperation opportunities in the new development phase.

Hue City leader noted that the bilateral relationship stems from the Friendship and Cooperation Agreement signed in 2016. Since then, both sides have continuously maintained cultural exchange activities, delegation visits, and local promotion efforts. Notably, Dongnae delegations attended Hue Traditional Craft Festival in 2017 and 2019. In return, Hue sent delegations to participate in Dongnae Eupseong Historical Festival in 2016 and 2023, as well as the 31st Dongnae Eupseong Historical Festival in October 2025.

Given the similarities in historical depth and cultural identity between the two localities, Hue hopes that Dongnae District will continue serving as a bridge to promote the image of the ancient capital in South Korea and foster deeper connections with Busan and other Korean partners.

District Mayor Jang Joon-Yong expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm and gracious reception from the city's leaders and said he was impressed by Hue’s beauty and potential. He also affirmed that the Dongnae administration highly values this relationship and hopes both sides will strengthen substantive cooperation in key areas such as culture, tourism, education, and people-to-people exchanges.
